Living Unapologetically

Life experiences can bring about shame when you live as You and it is deemed wrong. When you love hard, dance freely, laugh loudly, run quickly, and others think it’s too much, over the top, unacceptable, then the shame rises up. Moving forward, you shrink back because you want to escape the shame. You run and hide your true self and adapt to what should be or ought to be or you are demanded to be. Oh, what a limiting experience that can be. The confinement, loss of joy, direction, clarity, and self-destructive behaviors take over. Your voice is silenced, your steps are lighter and almost invisible, your handprints are barely noticeable, so you seek validation and love in all the wrong places. You work in places that are unfulfilling. You engage in unhealthy relationships and eventually your mind, soul and body deteriorate to a level that you no longer see yourself, no longer can function at a high level, and no longer know who you really are nor what you really want.

Well now is the time to wake up, see and accept what has happened, and do the work to regain you footing, reconnect with self and live as You (fully you) unapologetically. For the world needs you and not a manufactured version of you. The gifts, talents, passion, and impact living within you will change the world. Step forward into your purpose.
